Swimming Pool
Our Private Pool is cleaned prior to your arrival for enjoyable swimming experience. Please take note that this pool is unsupervised, no life guard on duty. By making use of the pool area, you automatically accept the rules, terms and regulations and you indemnify the owners from any and all liability to property, personal injury or death to any third party, that resulting from the use of the pool area.

Boma and Braai (BBQ)
As you gather for outdoor dining and barbecue experience at our Boma and Braai area, fire extinguisher are provided in the Boma area for emergency use. Familiarize its location and operation in case of fire.
Please bear in mind that gathering of woods is prohibited. Fire woods are available around local shops in Marloth Park.
Fire and Extinguishers
The Accommodation is equipped In case of fire emergency notify the fire department immediately by dialling 112. Our Fire extinguishers and first aid kit is Located inside the pantry cabinet.
Water and Electricity
We kindly ask for your cooperation in conserving water and electricity. Power outages (Loadshedding) is common in South Africa. Specific areas or region including Marloth Park may experience scheduled power outages for a certain duration, typically raging from few to several hours. But no worries the Villa is fully equipped with back-up electricity system and water tank to supply you with three hours of power(at normal/average usage) when power outages occur. Some of the shops and restaurants are not accessible, please be mindful of the time and schedule by installing the mobile app “ESP” for you to track power outages time.

THE BUSH LODGE IS FULLY EQUIPPED WITH AN ALARM SYSTEM AND OUTSIDE PARAMETER CCTV CAMERAS THAT LINKED TO
SECURITY ARMED RESPONSE UNIT SECURITY.
WHEN LEAVING THE PROPERTY BE SURE TO CLOSE ALL THE WINDOWS AND LOCK THE DOORS, THEN ACTIVATE THE ALARM. IN CASE THE ALARM GOES OFF, IT WILL NOTIFY THE SECURITY AND IMMEDIATELY CHECK THE PROPERTY. IF ACCIDENTAL ACTIVATION OF THE ALARM. PLEASE CALL THE FILED SECURITY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, THROUGH PHONE 082 828 1043 (INTERNATIONAL +27 82 828 1043.
UPON ARRIVAL THE ALARM-CODE IS ISSUED AND INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE GIVEN BY YOUR HOST.
Towels and Bedding
Our Guesthouse, your comfort and well-being our top priorities. That is why we maintain the highest standards of hygiene of our linen and towels, ensuring that they are meticulously laundered. Towels are provided. If you wish to have an additional linen or towels, please do contact our host on the area.
Cleaning Services
Our dedicated team of cleaning professionals follows a detailed cleaning protocol that covers every aspect of our guesthouse from common areas to individual rooms. We are pleased to offer an optional cleaning service during your stay. This may apply additional charge and subject for availability.
Prior to check-out, please wash all dishes, glasses and utensils that you have used during your stay and ensure that all items are thoroughly clean and dried before returning to its designated places. Dispose of any trash or items and place it outside the garbage cage.
Air-Conditioning
At our guesthouse we are equipped with air-conditioning, we aim to give you a comfortable and enjoyable stay. To ensure the efficient and responsible use we kindly request to use more than three hours daily to avoid compressor overworking. Turn off the air-condition when leaving the room. Please report any issues or malfunction of the air conditioning promptly to the host.
You are responsible for any damages caused by improper use or tampering the air-conditioning equipment.
RULES AND REGULATIONS.
By booking and or staying at MAKRUGU Forest, you acknowledge that you have read the contents of the indemnify/ disclaimer form that you have agreed and understood and will abide by this binding agreement stated herein. 1.BREAKAGE
As the moment you enter the guest house you as a guest are responsible for any damage or breakage caused by you or your visitors during your stay. Guest will be charged for the cost of replacement.
2. PARK RULES
Parties, loud music or other disturbances are not allowed and we maintain a no tolerance policy. You will be given a fine if not abide by the rules. Speed limits and driving.
on the tarred road is 50KM/hr. On the dirt/gravel road is 30KM/hr. Walking or Bicycling after dark between 6pm and 6am is Prohibited, Marloth park is a conservancy with wild animals roaming around.
3. SMOKING AND FIRES
Smoking is not allowed inside the accommodation. When using Boma and Braai please ensure the fire is completely extinguished before you retire for the day. Embers are dangerous and can easily start a raging bush fire.
4. ALARMS/ELECTRICITY/WATER
If you are outside please ensure that the windows and doors are locked and put the alarm on activated mode. Turn off all lights and air- conditioning when not in used.
Marloth park is water scarce area. Please use water wisely and sparingly. Check for any water leakage of the tap and kindly inform the host.
